REALTOR® of the Year

This award recognizes the REALTOR® who has contributed the most to the real estate profession, to fellow REALTORS® and to the community at large during the career of the nominee. Eligible Candidates are all REALTORS® selected during the year by their local boards as REALTORS® of the Year. The incumbent president of the association is ineligible during year of service. Nomination forms will be provided to boards. Only one nomination per local board.

Past REALTORS® of the Year evaluate each candidate based on an established point scale. Scores for each candidate must be submitted to AAR to reserve a member a vote in selection meeting. At the selection meeting, the committee chooses the winner from the top five nominees, based on their cumulative scores. Nominations are due in the association office by August 1. The award will be presented at the AAR Annual Convention.
