Pam Segars-Morris
President-Elect
Pam Segars-Morris is married to Greg Morris. She is blessed with a Son, Kelly Reaves and Daughter-in-Love, Courtney. Grand-daughter, Gizele Grace "Gi Gi" Reaves, will join the family in early spring. Daughter Kari Morgan gave Pam two grandsons, Clay and Cade Morgan. Pam believes in the philosophy of God first, family and friends second and business as an important third place.
Pam grew up in the building and real estate business. Her father, D. W. Segars, began their company, SeBro Realty, in 1959. Pam actually typed her first contract, one finger at a time, when she was only eight years old. She was licensed to serve the public in 1986.
Encouraged by veteran REALTORS®, Pam became active in the Bessemer and Birmingham Associations of REALTORS®. Pam has held every local office, including serving as president on three occasions. She has chaired every local committee numerous times. Pam has taken that service to the Alabama and National Associations. There are many treasured memories during her career. Being honored with the coveted Robert Jemison Award made Pam speechless. We know that does not occur often. Being named an “Alabama Hero” by Governor Bob Riley, along with members from her Leadership Class of 2003, is among many memorable moments of her career.
Anyone who knows Pam knows she has a passion for Governmental Affairs. Inspired by a father who was a multi-decorated World War II Hero, Pam carries the torch of American patriotism. The incredible experience of meeting with President George W. Bush stills puts tears in her eyes and takes her breath away.
Pam's mother, LeNeta Chapman, instilled in Pam the ethic of, "Every place you go should be better upon your leaving because you were there,” - even if that means picking up the toilet paper someone left on the floor.
Pam has made real estate her profession, but service to her family, friends, fellow REALTORS®, clients, customers and country are where her heart is.
