STATEWIDE OPEN HOUSE, APRIL 10-11

The Alabama Association of REALTORS^® is pleased to announce that it is joining a number of its peers across the country by holding a statewide open house the weekend of April 10-11. This event, The Alabama Open House, will coincide with the REALTOR^® Nationwide Open House.

This Open House weekend is modeled after a successful event held by the Washington Association of REALTORS^® last Fall. This event is designed to give our members the opportunity to showcase their listings, and highlight the housing opportunities that exist in the current market. The extended and expanded Homebuyer Tax Credit is set to expire April 30. As we all know, binding contracts must be in force by April 30, with closings required to be completed by June 30. This will be one of the final opportunities for consumers to take advantage of the Homebuyer Tax Credit, along with favorable pricing and low interest rates.
