MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Alabama Association of REALTORS® (AAR) honored Barbara Higgins with the Mickey Phillips’ REALTORS® for Children Award at the AAR 2010 Leadership Conference in Montgomery, Ala.

In honor of Mickey Phillips, a REALTOR® who devoted your time to children, this award recognizes the efforts of a member who has devoted time and resources to unselfishly invest in children through projects or programs focusing on the needs of children.

“Barbara is the perfect role model and has touched many people’s lives,” said Jeff Newman, Association Executive for the Mobile Area Association of REALTORS®. “ She is very deserving of this award.”

Higgins, a member of the Mobile Area Association of REALTORS®, has worked tirelessly for the past 30 years in the local community, giving a significant amount of her personal time and support. She has served as Vice-President of the Crittenton Youth Services and currently serves on the Board of Directors.
