On April 29, Alabama REALTOR® members from across the state voted to approve the Planning Committee’s proposal to make our Board of Directors more efficient in conducting the business of the Association. A smaller, more manageable sized Board allows the Board to move closer to the speed of business and be more responsive to the needs and issues of today’s REALTOR® in today’s real estate market.   

We want to thank the numerous members who took the time to carefully review the proposal, provide feedback and attend the meetings. A special thanks to the members of the Planning Committee over the last three years who contributed hundreds of hours in this effort of advancing our Association. 

The result is a more efficient, responsive Association that will be able to better serve our membership. We are excited to move forward, and cannot wait to see what the future holds for our Alabama REALTORS®! Be on the lookout for more details to come soon regarding State Director applications.
